Materiais de construção is a set of sets, containing devices and materials created for interventions, used in projects in situ presented in a period of ten years. They’re displayed as collections of samples organized as if in an archive of possibilities, some of them already produced and exhibited and some not yet released. The showcases are like the ones one can find in home improvement retailers, suggesting that those materials could be chosen and purchased as an unlimited edition, though the artwork in those cases is the object itself, and the materials are not supposed to be ordered on demand.
